Will 89' 2wd spindles fit a 85' 1/2 ton 2wd pick up?

My buddy broke his spindle on his 85' 2wd 1/2 ton pick up and he knows a guy that has a 89' chevy van hes parting out and he needs to know if that spindle will fit his 85'?
