I finally dove off the deep end and ordered my stuff, the 3” kit for my 05.
I didn’t bother asking how long it would take to get it. Well I am going on a week now with no notice of shipment:damnit: , my sport ride bags, level command II and daystar spacers from Summit showed up promptly…:dunno:

ya mine took a month because they were on backorder from wherever they order them from...but make sure they get powdercoated because luckily they called and asked after about 3 weeks if i wanted it raw now or powerdcoated and a week later...

Finally got mine in... If anyone runs across this post later down the road make sure you ask how long till they ship. It seems like no one keeps them in stock???
Just a little tid bit to. If you don't mind waiting a little Topgun is saves you a little on the nitro shock upgrade.
Now I just need to find the time to get this stuff on!!!

What does that mean?

I ordered mine through topgun and I noticed the nitro shock upgrade was $5 a shock and at RC it was $25 although you might have me here b/c I thought it was $25 a shock and it might be $25 for all to be upgraded not just for each one to be upgraded.
Besides that I called RC (a week after I placed my order)to see if they had some in and I was going to cancel my order with topgun to get them quicker and RC said they would not get any in till the end of the week. I didn't get mine till 2 weeks later. It seems like RC orders take precedence over the other distributors.

mine came in within a few days of ordering it. Tmax just ordered his and it also took a couple days for his spindles

Well, I placed my order with RC last Thursday and got word today that they notified UPS that they will be shipping. No worries though. I was expecting it to take some time before it got here...

well the 1st time something was up with my card, so they called me back, i gave them my other card on SAT. he said they will ship it off 1st thing MON... on TUE i heard a very loud bang.. its was the UPS guy complaining that the package was heavy...

 funny thing he came not in a UPS truck, but a Penseke Moving truck... [the only time i see them doing that is if its 1st class rush mail, but my shipping was free] but yeah, it took 1 day!

It is pretty much boils down to my timing luck, I swear I am the only person in the world that can spend 30min in a freaking drive through!!!
B.T.W. can I get your ups service in Louisiana, the freaking spindles were falling out of my box... And they never seem to drop stuff off when I am at home???

Wholly crap... I just looked at pic of the OBS spindle... that is sick. Unless I am seeing something wrong the center of the wheel is lower that the lower control arm.

thats all the spindles do. It just drops the wheel down lower and nothing else. Check out my gallery

Yeah I know that is how it works but looking at the nbs the center of the bearing wasn't dropped down lower than the lower control arm. It works but it caught me off guard till it sunk in. I guess the geometry of the obs and the nbs is a little different.

Oh believe me you are not the only one. I can do that and then end up being told that they are out of McRibs!!! Sorry, had to vent.

Anyway that kit looks tough. I checked the tracking on mine and it's actually supposed to be here today! I would put it on this week while I'm off work but my dad's using my garage to do his brakes and replace a water pump, and he's taking his time. Oh well, I'm about to head out to my brother's place to get started working on my new project truck.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload pics to treads... although somehow I did it a long time ago, can anyone help me out? I can put them in my gallery but not in a tread.

I put some cleaner pictures of my truck in my gallery and a few showing the air bag setup. I would upload them to the tread if I could figure it out.
