I haven't used those, but aren't they made by HeartThrob Exhaust?

I wouldn't put anything aluminized on my truck living in Ohio...that **** will rust and fall off within 2-3 years.

I would...do it once and do it right, IMO.

Do you know of any similar systems made of stainless?

Definately go with stainless, and their should be plenty of companies who offer...
I could be wrong, but wasn't ohio on the North during the civil war?? Or maybe my history is just a bit hazy....

I'm a transplant from Charleston, S.C. which was the first state to leave the Union on December 24, 1860 and where the first shots of the Civil War were fired on April 12, 1861 by Confederate forces at Union troops who had refused to evacuate Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor.
I think that more than qualifies me to fly my flags.
EDIT: And before anyone snaps back with the war being ever... Go study the laws which govern combat and surrenders. General Lee signed the surrender documents which makes them legally void due to the fact that only the supreme ruler of any nation can sign a surrender treaty. President Davis Never Signed Any Such Treaty.
LOL Just noticed you are from North Carolina

Gibson and Magnaflow make split exhausts like that jegs kit and they are SS and decently priced...they both come with a muffler though, whereas that Jegs kit is more or less straightpipes.

Yeah the jegs is a glasspack setup but all the glasspacks i've looked at so far are aluminized steel... even the cherrybomb brand glasspacks are aluminized steel

off the wall thought, but could you paint cheapo aluminized exhaust pipe with something like high heat engine clear coat or something?

This is why I love this forum, collective brainstorming!

I painted my aluminized system on my old truck and it still rotted off in 2 NY winters...remember, it's not only the moisture/salt outside but also the moisture inside on those cold days that rusts it out.

Magnaflow are essentially glasspacks and come in SS, i've got an SS muffler on my civic and it's the only thing on my exhaust that will wipe clean with a rag and has yet to show any signs of surface rust. the whole exhaust is only 3-4 months old but the winters in Newfoundland are brutal for rust. So it's a wise investment IMO
