I recently lifted by 06' ccsb Procomp 7 1/2 front, 4 rear, It has about 3k miles since lift. The other day I notice a puddle of ATF on the driveway. looked under and found no trace. Now leaks almost every other day. Found ATF dripping from trans tunnel. I'm thinking that leaks while driving. The truck has a one piece driveshaft, there's about 2 1/2" of space between driveshaft and tailshaft of transmission. When I measured, truck was sitting on the floor. What should I do to repair the leak? Is this problem common with lifted trucks? Thanks:dunno:

Did you get the lift specifically for your crew cab? Crew cabs use a different rear lift block that pushes the axle forward so the drive shaft doesnt pull out so much.

Is your driveway level? If it isn't you can reverse the truck in and keep the tailshaft up to keep it from leaking, for a temp. solution.
If you didn't get the blocks that relocate the rearend forward, I'd try to find some quick.

BTW, those blocks would be tapered if they were the proper ones. No flat top.

purchase kit direct from procomp. thanks
Just because you got it from procomp directly doesnt mean its the right one. If you can, post pics of the block and maybe some of the truck's side.

Thanks ^^, I went outside to take pics of the blocks, I think I know why is leaking, I check all fluids under hood, Truck at operating temp found ATF 2-3" above second dot on dipstick. I remember i took the truck into the dealer for trans. not shifting properly, Around the same time I lifted the truck; they replaced 2-3 band under warranty. They overfilled the trans. Now going to dealer to show somebody how to check trans. fluid!
Well here's pics of the blocks.

those look like aluminum blocks and they aren't tapered...if the blocks aren't the problem i would still get rid of those aluminum ones and get some cast iron tapered ones...just my $.02..
