anyone stuck a different mirror head on our doors? it seems that lot of mirrors are stuck on some round post. also im not into the "billit :barf: mirrors. my mentality is that find one that matches the body style and might fit, well make it fit. just seeing if anyone has put something like that on their truck. i dnot like the 89-91 suburban new style door mirrors.. looks terrible to me. other than that, chime in.

I like my old school sport mirrors. Much better than dumbo ears and the newer suburban mirrors IMO

They are border line motorcycle mirrors. I think I will either paint or powder coat mine. Good job on the Gen III motor swap. Very inspiring.

Just for a chuckle,around here many years ago we put mirrors on the fenders.They were a pain to work around but you only had to deflect your eyes a few degrees from traffic,and they seemed to eliminate the blind spot. RW
