Hey guys,

Ive begun doing my own programming and so far its going good. But before i start working on the performance I have one more drivablity problem to work out which is with the IAC. It stays way open, my truck will idle at around 1100rpms in park and 900-1000 in drive. The data logs are showing its staying open at about 80-100 steps.

My setup is a TBI 355 with a BBC TBI unit and IAC. The rewiring for a BBC IAC seems to be working because the IAC will retract and close in the 80-100 steps range... Im using a 16168625 ecm with the $0D mask.

The problem is in my XDF file for tuner pro, i cant find anything in there that has to do with controlling the IAC steps! Im using the 0D v1_02.xdf file on Moates' web server.. Does anyone have an xdf with the IAC settings already in it or know how i can figure out how to add them myself?

Thanks, andy

All needs to be set on the BBC TB
you need to adjust the TPS voltage and idle speed screw.
TPS needs be set at about 5.7 volts with the idel screw adjusted so that you get about 10 steps at idle.

Then there's
Target Idle VS coolant (park/neutrial & A/C Off)
Target Idle VS coolant (park/neutrial & A/C On)
Target Idle VS coolant ( A/C Off )
Target Idle VS coolant ( A/C ON )

And then there is alot more for the Proportional/Derivative terms since the IAC is a PID Loop.
