tomarrow i will be going to the local pick and pull. im expecting to find a virgin late model explorer rearend and snatch the sway bar off of it.
another guy on another forum did the same thing but he had to fab up more stuff than i will. he had a narrowed 9" with a unique hanger/shackle combo that allowd the leaf spring to sit right under the frame rail.
anywhoo, 89-90ish trans ams have brackets that bolt to the rear end tube ..i will see what the exploder brackets looks like. but im gona see what i can pilfer from the 2. im sure it will work out, but till then,

well a while back i went to the wrecking yard and i found out that older trans ams 80's axle tube is smaller than our truck axles (3"). so i gave up and didnt even look at the explorer.

anyone fit a rear sway bar on our pickups
(made from the junk yard of course)
