Going to look sweet man. You going to go ahead and raise the floor or cut/cover it?

Well I am just gonna cut this one open and leave it as is, it needs so much bodywork from dings and when I had to flare out the driver fender because of the panhard bar... I am gonna try to buy a new bed and try to get Todd from Lowboy Motorsports raise it up for me...

Are you using stock arms with drop spindles?

What about shocks?

Marcos
12-31-2007, 02:21 PM
Stock arms, drop spindles... the front of my truck is practically laying out, All I need was to take out the Bumpstops I put so it would look even since the back didn't lay out.

As for shocks they are good where they are at, I am running gabriel 81340, Monroe #32126, It rides awesome though.

Update... Okay I got the Driveshaft notch done, and the bridge bar welded up, also did the tie-rod notch but didn't get a chance to plate it...

The front still lays on the y-pipe since when the my brother is the one that took it to get raised, they didn't know what the hell he wanted done... so I need to get it raise properly.

Here are the pics...
Before bridge after the driveshaft notch... 2x6 under the tire to simulate 22's.

It was a 10" notch, we cut it down to 8". And I want 22's just no $, so i just set it up for that, I need to drill and tap it for a bumpstop.

gezz your doing all the work already better leave some for saturday

Dont worry, we still need to raise the gas tank and put the bed on. Where is that place you got your y-pipe raised again?

Nothing, just a small cut for the tie rods, and there is a lip that needs to be trimmed off by the lower control arm... thats it, but i am also running spindles.

Sweet before you do that you should go in and see if there are any holes you can plug weld to make that frame super smooth.

I really wanted to but i didn't have enough metal, and I plan to get the SD crossmember if they ever drop down in price or even if they would just sell the main crossmemeber and not that other piece that comes with it.
