How hard is it to install longtubes on my 97 5.7? And is it worth it to get the ceramic coating for an extra 150 bucks? live in oklahoma so i dont see much salt to rust them out. Thanks, Blake

It's pry about a 4 hour install give or take depending on various things. You can do it with common hand tools. I would say that the ceramic coating is definitely worth it...

Definantly worth the extra money for the ceramic coated headers. My headers have only been on my truck since aboue late september and they have already started to rust at the collector. I plan on taking them off and having them powerdercoated though.

Do yourself a favor and put some WD-40 (or something like it) on your manifold bolts the night before.
