Motor Differences

Hey guys, I have a 87 c10 w/ 5.7 motor which is shot. I can get a hold of a 88 or a 90 5.7 motor. Any differences between my 5.7 and the later ones I mentioned. Will they just drop in or will I have to get other parts to make them work? THanks again in advance.

I think they are the same until 94 but im not real for sure...hope some one else backs me up.
