Something is missing out of my console?

I recently bought a 05 Silverado LT X-cab. And in the rear of my center console there is a open hole where something use to be installed. It faces the rear seat. Hole is Square or slightly rectangle and looks like the size of a GM rear Heat/AC control or Stereo display. There are scratches showing something was definately there but whatever it was is gone now. Any ideas?

Probably is the rear stereo controls if I was to guess. Does your truck have the Bose stereo?

Yes, it does have the BOSE System....

Sounds like a previous owner and his buddy did an organ transplant to the buddy's truck when the owner decided to sell it.

It is missing a cubby hole. I don't think that the ex cabs came with the rear radio controls. Check for a wiring harness in there. I may be wrong. I know on mine there is just a cubby. I know on the crews and tahoe sub's they have the radio controls.
