maybe selling the truck. need opinions

ok well i had a guy out at my farm picking up his pullin tractor and he asked about my truck he asked what i had done to it etc. he wanted to know what else i had planned to do to it and he goes ill buy it if you want to sell it i told him id get back to him he gave me an offer of $15,000 i know he has the money so its not some made up bs.

mods to my truck.

built motor
5spd swap
all rust repaired
custom dash pad (fiberglassed it so it wouldnt crack and had a friend pinstripe it)
grant steering wheel
1 inch body
4 inch lift
33s (maybe 5k miles)
12 bolt rear d44 front 3.73s
14 bolt and D60 will be thrown in (both need rebuilt)
tonneau cover
diamond plate tool box

only plans i had left were to get it painted professionally, maybe some marine speakers, and bucket seats.

i totalled up my receipts and i have a little over 13k into it and that includes what i paid for it

the only reason i ask is because yes i would be making a profit out of it. but he wants to give it to his 17yo old son.

BTW, a 17 yr. old kid is going to tear the crap out of it any way you look at it, especially if he’s not paying for it. I couldn’t watch that happen to my truck. That’s why I would never be able to sell it.

it would be profitable but if you plan on getting another one its jsut as well to keep it.

well i have a few other trucks aswell considering one is a ford diesel (7.3) with over 500k miles and im not afraid to take it anywhere. i have my 2wd truck which is just my winter beater but wouldnt be too hard to fix up. i think i might keep it because it really is a nice truck and there isnt much left to do for it to be done how i would like it yes it is a nice offer but i would hate to see the truck in the junkyard
