muffler welded on?

ok im getting ready to put a flow master muffler on my truck and i was wondering if the muffler is welded on. i got under there today and it appears to be but i cant tell. also is the catalatic converter welded?

Assuming a factory setup, the muffler is welded on both ends and the cat is welded on the manifold side (flanged on the muffler side).
