I recently saw an add on craigslist I beleive the San Diego area...

It was for factory leather upholstery $50. I emailed the seller asking about shipping. Got a reply:

Their website does not work. Called the office number got a voicemail saying the companies name an what not... i want to make sure its not a scam. Anyone have any tips? I think ive read about this type of "factory leather" covers. I think basically you remove your factory upholstrey then have to roll on the new stuff and how tight it is all depends on how good you put it on. I think the price is so low because of how hard it is to get it to fit right??? What do you guys think about this whole idea? Anyone heard of it or located close and could check it out?

Seems to be lots of flakes on craigslist...I wouldn't trust it. there are replacement seat covers on ebay.

As they say, if it sounds too good to be true...

Replacement Chevrolet/GMC (OEM) leather seat covers usually run at least $100 per piece (bucket seat bottom or back). It sounds like these may be aftermarket. A lot of people use the word "factory" to mean "similar to factory."

There is a seller on Ebay that sells factory replacement covers for around $150 per piece. I think you pull the old one off and put the new one on.
