I just recently bought a low mileage 1988 gmc c2500 and it has the bar graph gauges,I'm wanting to swap in a dash from a 1993-95 or so with the needle gauges and a tach. Is it possible without modding the harness? I'm hoping its just a plug and play direct swap.

IMO, you'd be better doing a swap to a late model 91 that had the needles and tach. Its a much easier conversion and you only have to rewire a few things in the harness instead of setting up a DRAC and all.

The 91 clusters are a major PITA to find, especially for a decent price.
