Gauge light question

Ok before I try to fix this myself i just have a question. This is for my 04 1500 and the tuner/display dial does not light up and neither does the traf button. I'm guessing they are suppose to be lit but i havn't noticed.

How hard is it to check the bulbs behind those areas? Are there even bulbs for each individual button?
