Hey guys what up, i've got a 2000 s-10 right now thats bagged and all, but i'm lookin to get a fullsize to start, i've been lookin around on here for awhile pickin up some info. A buddy of mine has a 97 chevy 1500 vortec 350, lowered, wheels and some other goodies so hopfully i'll be trading him in the near future. Just wondering if theres anything particular I should look for on these trucks. His is in pretty good shop except for his front bumper is dented in pretty good, which is no biggie. Also the clearcoat is starting to come off the roof, and tops of the doors. Is that a common problem with these, cause thats the only thing getting me worried.

Throw on a new front bumper and clean up the frame rails of rust and you've got a nice truck.

Thanks, and is the clearcoat pealing on these truck normal? I know the truck spent alot of time in texas before is came to missouri so i'm guess that didnt help the paint.
