Truck is a 97 Yukon GT 2 door

Looking at these headers HOK-2462HKR on summit racing but theyre only listed as up until 96. I shouldnt have any issues running this on a 97 vortec motor would i? Not sure if the exhaust ports put the headers in a bad spot or anything?

Any reason why i cant use those headers? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HOK%2D2462HKR&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Other question is what style muffler would you guys reccomend if im going to be running duals. I would love to run some chambered mufflers from www.stainlessworks.net but those would be stupidly loud through duals.

whats a good fit? oh and no flowmaster!

You could use the Hookers you're looking at but you would have to have an EGR bung welded into one of the primary tubes, or you could have you're EGR deleted via custom PCM tune.(not sure how it would affect you if you had to pass emissions).OR you could buy the Pacesetter longtubes that already have the EGR and O2 sensor bungs placed. I just ordered some a week ago and they are in the same price range. They have ceramic coated ones for $380 and painted for $240.

ya thats cool, i looked at the pace setter ones and they look perfectly fine. I guess i just like my hookers i think these look sweet, i might ditch the egr anyways but we'll see, thanks for the info.
