SoCalZ28 01-08-2008, 10:31 PM I used them on my 99 Z28 for years with no problems at all, it ran the same as when I had real O2's in there ryan_thompson87 01-10-2008, 12:39 PM can you use them on an odb1 system too? 1BadZ71Tahoe 01-10-2008, 12:48 PM can you use them on an odb1 system too? Probably, it's just a dumb idea to trick the computer. Learn to burn your own chips with properly calibrated air/fuel/spark tables. discostu 01-10-2008, 01:13 PM Probably, it's just a dumb idea to trick the computer. Learn to burn your own chips with properly calibrated air/fuel/spark tables. I agree. Why "fool" the computer into doing something? Why not just do it the right way in the first place? You'll see much better results in every aspect: power, economy, driveability, etc. SoCalZ28 01-11-2008, 10:28 AM can you use them on an odb1 system too? yup MSlewis 01-11-2008, 10:15 PM The sole purpose of the upstream/precat 02 sensor is for feedback to the ecm/pcm to gage if what it's trying to accomplish is happening. It's the one that controls fuel and AFR. If not mistaken the primary purpose of the 02 simulator is to take the place of the downstream/postcat sensor, and keeping the CEL off when running gutted cat converters. vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
