Well, since the body lift, I've been driving around with my shift-boot unattached from the floor.
When the shifter is in 2, 4, or R, the boot bunches up quite a bit and makes it difficult (and sometimes not possible) to get the gear to engage.
Performance Accessories suggests that I "trim out the inside of the boot", which I am reluctant to do.
Without the body lift, the body sits on top of the transmission, and the shifter pivot point is about an inch or two above the floor of the cab. Now it's below the cab floor.
Any ideas on a replacement boot or a procedure to make mine work?
