Leaving the gas station today I got on it. The motor rev quickly, threw me back into my seat, and sounded awesome.

It's just a 350 TBI with 181K on the motor. Poweraid TBI spacer, custom air intake, single performance exhaust system.

I would love to add a edelbrock performer intake manifold this spring if my wallet had the money.

I hear ya. I just took mine out for a spirited drive and I really need to stop babying the engine. It flies.
My old L05 really impressed me too, once I put 4.56 gears to counter-act the 35's.
