How big of tires are you wanting to run? There's a member on here with a NNBS single cab black chevy with the 4" CST spindles (and maybe spacers, not sure).

I was told if I just put a level kit on the front I could possibly run 33's is that right?

it will probly take at least 4" to run a 33 I work in a dealer and we had a customer buy an 08 z71 4x4 and it would not clear a 33 stock it hit the back side of the fender bad you could not even turn it the customer had the body shop cut and paint the back of the fender to make them clear

Make your sig. smaller :read: Go with the 4", leveling kit, and bigger blocks in the rear and you will clear 33"s fine.

Depends on the size tire you want. CST is actually a 4.5 and will clear a true 33. A level kit will clear a 285 33 with some trimming.

As for a 6in the Fabtech is the best out there and is actually a 8in lift. Rancho makes a 4in that clears 35s but is really pricey.

On the new body styles it all depends on wheel backspacing. I have the 2.5 inch leveling kit and a 3 inch body lift. I am running a 295/70/17 which is a 33. My wheels are 17x9 with a -12mm offset and my tires still rub slightly with the wheel cranked all the way. If I had an offset closer to zero or in the positives a little I wouldn't have any problems.

Also you are roughly at a 5.5in lift to clear the 295. Just the leveling kit would be hard to clear the 295

I think I'm going with the Fabtech 6" basic kit ,35x12.50x20's or 18's.
I'm him'n and haw'n over what tire company and what size wheel.
I like the
Toyo Open Country M/T
Pro comp
BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO
Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radial
Baja MTZ Radial

Wheels I can't decide whether a 18 or a 20 god I guess these are fun decisions to make huh.

Do you want a mud terrain? If so I like the new BFG KM2. Awesome tire and has less road noise than most mudders.

A/T the Mickey Thompson ATZ looks the best out of all A/Ts. I have Nittos and think they are a great tire with no road noise comapred to the Pirelli's I had before.

See that's kind of the dilema I like the mudder tires the way they look but I drive around town and on the freeway a little so If there is alot of road noise I don't want it.I just don't know.I have always liked BF Goodrich tires I haved t/a's on almost all of my vehicles.

Dude you still alive? I've sent you a couple emails and PM's but haven't heard anything. I have got the money you agreed to in our first PM and would like to buy this stuff. Let me know one way or the other.

Well I'm doing it at the end of the month going with the CST spindle lift with MotoMetal 955 20x10 and Nitto Terra Grappler 305/50/20.

Then Dynatech exhaust with Corsa sport by summer finally done looking. Thanks every one for your input.Doug
