Well i sold my 20's and took the plunge into the lifted 2wd world. I ordered the 3" spindles from Rough Country on Friday and they were at my house yesterday. I give them an A+ for fast shipping. I ordered a 3" lift block kit from summit since I plan on using the daystar spacers that I already own in the front. And for shocks I ordered a set of Pro Comp es9000's front and rear. I'll be running stock 16" chrome rims with 285/75r16 Pro Comp Extreme M/T's. I should be able to get it all done since I get a three day weekend from school because of MLK day. I'll try to get my sis' camera to do a build log but I will definitely get some pics of it all wrapped up. I'm hoping to finish it all before Monday so I can go get her dirty, but we'll see.

you know what would be a trip? if you lifted the front end of your truck and left the rear how it is now and took a pic of it...that would be some extreme cali lean right there

i cant wait to see how it turns out!

I'm gonna go take some tonight after I get off work. I had no idea how many people were as thrilled about my truck as I was. It seems evident that you guys really want pictures. The reason I dont have any up yet is beacause my lil sis was at a retreat all weekend long and she had her camera with her so i couldnt use it. The truck turned out great. The only thing I am waiting for is my new shocks. Im running the stocks right now and the ride actually isn't bad at all. My neighbor hooked me up and I got all four tires mounted and balanced for free. Gotta take it to get an alignment tomorrow. I'll post some pics of the new center console also. It is a downfiring speaker box/console that holds 2 Soundsplinter RL-i 8's powered by an ED nine.1.

you gonna lift the front more?

No, the rake isn't as bad as it looks in the picture. On cement it looks fine. I measured the fenderwell heights and there is only a half inch difference from front to back. 38.75" front and 39.25" back. And my stock shocks are kinda shot. Hopefully when the new shocks come in it will stiffen it up a bit.

So how you like running **** over? I find it pretty damn fun after being slammed so long and having to be extremely careful even going into my driveway trying not to rip the air dam off lol

Its awesome. Speed bumps no longer make me cringe. Having the bigger tires provides way more cushion on the road. Parking it did take a little getting used to just because I cant see as well but backing into a space hasn't failed me yet. In all honesty the lift was a little bigger than I was expecting. I mean I knew what the actual size was supposed to be but when it was all said and done I was surprised. I'm 6'2" and I have to hop a little to get into the truck. I love it. I just washed it so if I get a chance today I'll take some more pics by my apt.

I've got the same setup (3" spindles, 2" spacers, and a 3" block) and my front also sits around 1/2" lower than the rear. It looks off a bit in that last pic though

I think I ned to take some new measurements.. Last I could remember I was just over 39 in the front and almost exactly the same in the rear.. I have the same setup but with a 2" block in the rear *Shrug*. Either way truck looks great! lemme know how those new shocks go, because after a couple minor things thats next on my list as I think the extra extension is finally wearin hard on my stock ones and it seems shes shrunk a bit in the front lately =/

Love how it turned out for ya though. I would hope I do considering how similar ours are haha.

Well my tires are 285/75/16 but the actual diameter is 32.8" Idk if that has something to do with the fender measurements being lower. It could be my spacers. Now that I think about it they may not be 2". I've had them for a long time and when I put them on when I first got the truck, I remember it not sitting exactly level like I was expecting. Do they sell a 1.5" or a 1.75" for our body style's?

They do make a 1.5" or a 1" IIRC. My tires measure out to 33.1 according to BFGs site, I dont think .15" would make that big of a difference.. *shrug*

i've noticed a lot of lowered trucks getting lifts lately......especially 2WD trucks

guess you lowered guys are tired of useless trucks

The truck wasn't useless until we got in our new hunting lease. We have a dirt road leading to the camp that gets sloppy when it rains. That and I started hunting more around my house. Didn't like the idea of parking my truck on the side of the road to go hunting. Thats one of the main reasons I switched. I got tired of always worrying about leaving my truck places. I loved the way it looked. If I had the money, I would have one of each but I'm a one truck man.
