I'm just curious what size tires will be able to fit with a 4" RC spindle (3" rear blocks) and a 3" body lift. My rims have a 3.25" backspacing so that might have to be changed. I've almost finished the 4" spindles w/31's and theres lots of room..but I want to go higher up. oh this is on an OBS rcsb

texsierra, you've probably seen my truck but i have your exact same rims,4"spindles,3"body and 1.5" coil spacers with 33x12.50r15 tires (that measure only 31.5" tall) that fit with almost an inch to spare. pictures in my gallery.

thanks yeah i took a look at the pictures...from the looks of it it's probably not wise to go past a 33" tire.

i got a 3" fabtech spindle and 3" BL...but its a NBS truck though...i am running 315/75's with about the same backspacing as you have with some minimal rubbing

looks like i'll stick to the 33's...haha it's so true once you lift it just a bit you'll always want to go higher! I've been eyeing a 77 Classic lifted 6", but I dont think 10mpg would be good for a daily driver.

didnt think you could change backspacing on a wheel once you already have it, other than purchasing some [overpriced] plate to put behind the wheel.

lol no I was planning on buying new rims. I've left them on all winter, I finally cleaned some of the crap off to see how they're holding up...not so good :nopity: ...meh they're eagle alloys
