ECM question

I was just curious if there is an ECM that was used for a TBI 350 with a 4l80 trans?

16197427 runs the 60E and 80E I think. pretty sure; but I don't want to steer you wrong, man.

I think there's another ECM in the later TBI years also. not sure on P/N. oldred95 or fast probably know

I don't know, i've never looked at it. And its about 20 degrees here and i'm not gonna go look sorry lol.

If it warms up in the next few days i'll pull it out and take a look for you.

it's about 20 in the garage. I was gonna go check some stuff out on the truck...opened the door to the garage, felt the air, did a 180 back inside lol

My 1995 One Ton has a 350 TBI motor, 4L80E, and the 16197427 ECM.

That should clear it up. This truck is a little odd though, it had a single wire O2 on it.

I've been doing a lot of O2 millivolt tuning lately- had a curious thought.
Wonder if the O2 values in a 1 wire-equipped truck are different from a 3-wire equipped truck.?

The values should be the same.

I'm convinced there are a lot of factors that affect the narrow band's stoich reading. Heat, placement, ground quality, sensor brand


my NB's 14.5-14.6 is around 800 mv. (ACDelco AFS 74)

IIRC the 4L80E's came with a 1-wire o2. The 4L60E have the 3-wire.

The trans has nothing to do with whether or not it had a 1 wire or 3 wire o2.

Looking in my service manual (1995 GMC van) it clearly states that 4L80E = 1 wire, 4L60E = 3 wire.
Maybe I am incorrectly assuming that trucks were built similiar.
