I have 2 Kicker L7 12 inch in a subthump downfiring box. The bass sounds alright for what it is, but im not satisfied. Since i don't want to remove my seat i've decided to go BLOW-THROUGH style (i dont mind cutting into or resale value) I do need some opinions, should i have 4 12inch Kicker L7 or 2 15 inch BTL. Also what kind of box bandpass, vented, ported :dunno: Im planning on a zx-2500 to run the 4 Kickers if i go that way. Would that amp push the BTLs, if not what will? Im trying to get spl out of it for the most part.

If you are looking for spl go ported! I'm not sure what Btl's are? Did you see the thread on the one I just did?

Actually pics like yours make it look so clean thats why im leaning that way. Great install.:10: Im probably gonna end up doing 4 12 L7 ported since i already have 2 of the woofers. Im wondering around what kind of numbers ill be hitting with a ported box and a zx-2500 kicker amp. Im just anxious i know its a dumb question.:whatever:

I would guess upper 140's but you have to deaden the roof if you want it to sound decent at all. Especially if its a 4 door truck!

its impossible to just spout out guesses on sound pressure levels without knowing exactly what your doing setup wise, even then its just a guess.

im talking box tuning, electrical upgrades, box mounting, amp tuning, wire, etc...

Please do this and meter it ASAP. If you were closer I'd help!
