Well, I been a memeber of this forum and never really posted or showed pics of my ride. so here it is which is part 87,85,&82 c10 "hense the project name" The name is Erik and my club is Lowkey here in md. I wont take credit for the work as one of the club leaders is building the truck for me ;]....

This is what it started out as "87 R10"

I would say a total of 2 years total time. The first build took about a year which was a total diaster. This recent build has been on going since July 07. Looking for a Mid Spring to be drivable again. Thanks for all the comments and I will keep this thread updated

My '85 CC was pieced together from 13 trucks.

I should have some new pics tomorrow night If I remember the camera. Thanks for all the props... and Boars head Arent we all paying for it someway somehow. The problem is I dont have time "with my job" or a place to do the work thats why one of the guys from my club is building it for me ... but I'm glad you guys like it.. I will keep with the updates

Here are a few updates.

This cross member and that section of frame is the only thing left from the orignal truck, The frame horns came from one of the donor trucks lol

A few more updates 3/27. She's now a rolling chassis's again. The wishbone will be painted silver as well, just he wants to put a bar in between the the bars first

Ohhh, nice. I love square bodies... How hard was it to do the suicide doors? Do you have pics of while you were doing it? I plan on doing suicides on my 77.

Wasn't to hard. since the back is already open and you notice there is a brace inside the door which also made it more solid. mercedes isn't the only one with a door that can hold 200+ lbs lol...
