I replaced my cloth seats with some leather from an 03. I had to change the plugs to get them to work, but the 8-way and lumbar works fine. I did this in the summer, not worrying about how cold leather is in the winter.
It was -20 the other day and although the leather is comfortable, sitting on frozen slabs of cowskin is not. Is there a way to hookup the heat on these seats?
I'm trying to use an aftermarket switch that I can run 12v Switched through, and only need the heat to come on when I hit the switch. Is there a wire that I can hook to, that will bypass the seat control module?
