i was considering the fabtech 6" lift for my 2002 2WD ext cab silv. But i was reading some old posts and came across someone talking about a 4" spindle lift for a 2WD silv. since money is tight, i was wondering if a 4" spindle lift along with a 3" body lift would give me 7" of lift? is this combination possible?

lol yea i know it = 7" but i have not read anything about anyone doing it...it seems to be a little cheaper then the conventional way. anyone heard of someone running the CST 4" spindle kit coupled with a 3" body lift? appreciate the help in advance

4+3...3+4 however you want to add it up you still get 7! If money is an issue it might be cheaper to go with Fabtech. According to 4Wheel Parts a 6" Fabtech lift will run you $1295. If you go the other route most of the 4" spindles are custom fabbed. CST retails for $689 while a set of Full Force will run you a little less, $599. The body lift will run $225 and another $50-60 for lift lips. While the spindle/body lift appears cheaper you'll most likely make up for that when you pay for install. A body lift is more time consuming than a spindle/coil lift. Couple other things to consider. A Body lift will not look as good, however it will ride like stock. Replacement lift coils it will look better but ride harsher. Replacement spindles also require new wheels with correct backspacing. Not sure how much research you've done or what your budget is but I would look at the 7" Full Force kit. Retails for $1399, slightly more than Fabtech but you get an extra inch and a much better spindle(custom fabbed vs. cast). Jeff over at PLC.com (http://www.performancelifts.com/) offers discounts to FSC members so you may want to email him. Hope this helps.
On another note CST is now making 4" 1500HD/2500HD spindles but did anyone see the price  $1295
