I just bought my 2003 GMC Sierra 1500HD, it has the 6cd changer, and bose sound system. I would like to hook up my two 12" Alpine Type-R's and my Hifonics amp, how do i do this, is this all i need to hook it up?

You are going to need a huge box for those drivers to sound good.

I've had them in my '91 ext cab with the rear seat removed haha, they are amazing. I love those woofers. I gotta figure out how much space i got underneat my backseat in my 03 crewcab, and see if its enough for 2, or just 1. I'm pretty sure it will be fine for both of them, they only need 1 sq.ft. a piece, sealed box. Hope to get a 3-3.5 sq.ft. box, that's the size i love the sound of them the most. have built 4 boxes for those 2 babies for my old truck, sealed and ported, and im sticking with sealed, like it better. But i've never hooked an aftermarket amp up to a stock head unit so i wanna make sure i order everything i need to git er done.

They are too tall for a crew cab and those drivers sound like arse in 1cuft, they need a WAY bigger box. Actually they really shouldn't be used sealed at all, if there was a driver made that likes ported you have them.
There is way more room in an EC and you can only get 2cuft. You now have to choose, either your type R's or your rear seat.
