View Full Version : Shorty Header question
Clean 95 GMC

What kind of power could I expect from a set of shorty headers and possibly a tb spacer?
The truck is a 1995 GMC 1500 with a 350, magnaflow cat, flowmaster cat back, k&n intake and a chip.

That 350 wakes up nicely with any kind of header. The actual numbers for power increase I don't know, but it would be worth your time and money to do a shorty header install on that engine as the stock manifolds are restrictive. Everyone with a 350 that swaps to headers seem to not regret it.

Considering the little effort that shorties take to install... Highly worth the swap for the boat anchors. :read:

:dunno: Must have thought this was another short versus longtube debate.
The stock manifolds do make great boat anchors:aniteef:
