I'm thinking about shaving my handles and I was wondering which kit I would need ? I already have a Viper alarm and door lock actuators installed . Can I add one of your kits to my setup without any problems ? Also is there any upgrades that I should consider ? if you need more info just let me know .
Later,
Tony

i wired up the solenoids w/ relays to a 430t channel expander so it works with the alarm remote. press the button of your choice once for the driver side door, twice for passenger side door
hey mike...do you have a handle relocator kit? i really just need the sheet metal to fill the hole in the tailgate, if you have something like that, i will pick it up from you in a week....let me know man

First off, don't use power locks on your truck...it takes out the factor of "what if I lock my keys in the truck..." If you do and don't have a 911 cable (or the 911 cable key is in the truck) you will need either a slim jim, a lock smith, or a baseball bat to get inside.
With that said, yes our kits will work with your alarm IF you use the unlock function (wire) from the alarm for the driver's door and the second door unlock (or an additional channel if applicable) to open the pass door.
The 911 cable is pretty trick.....it is secure since you need a key to use it and it always works....other than that, you might want to look into some of the other options on our site.....We have more optional accessories for shaved handles than anyone!

Best seller is the Complete system.....We do have the bolt in Ultra system for your truck as well.
You definately need the 50# solenoids (site says 35# but all we have are 50# now) and that is about ir for requirements.
FSC.com price is 15% off retail...so shop around our site and then give me a call and place the order and I will fix you up!

I'm looking to buy one of your kits. You say you only offer the 50# solenoids now?
I know it comes with a remote so you can open em, but what other kind of features could this remote have? It says it has a 12 channel, does that mean it could do 12 different things or what? I want remote start and just to shave my door handles and 911 cable and everything else that comes with the basic kit....nothing fancy or anything. Send me a PM if you could with a price or i'll call you when i have some free time

will a 15lb solenoid work on a fsc truck?
bad BAD idea. the guy who owned my truck before me had 15lb solenoids put in. :twak: one day i pressed the remote, then heard a loud bang. the solenoid just broke, luckily i hadn't locked my vent window so i just reached in and opened my door.

id like a beter write up on the 911 cable for a FSC truck and then id probably buy one for my truck... right now i just have a cheap @ss choke cable ran under my truck thats slightly hidden. BUT its kinda ghetto ive had to work on it once already from it sliping inside the door even tho i have 2 cable clamps on it to the sheet metal :(
but i got another question that is shaved doors related.......
right now i have a remote starter system on my truck alarm/keyless/starter combo....... for now i have to disarm the alarm and then use the 3rd channel ment for a back glass to pop my drivers door....
well tho it works... I WISH i had a system that could do both doors and remote start and be a alarm.......... i done spent 200bucks on my paging alarm system which i love the pager remote! best thing ever made!!!!! super long range and it pages you back to let you know its starting and when started.......
usualy im inside my work taking my afternoon dump and start my truck from my rest area ;) which gives me about 10-15min before i clock out and leave so my trucks preaty cool or warm dending on temp outside.... :)
is thier any way i could use all these functions?
or would i have to ditch all the toys just to operate the passenger door from outside?
sometimes i REALY hate geting into my truck and pushing my poper buton then walk around the truck... :(
but i must say the new popers you sent me kick @ss!!!!!!! those old ones sucked! as long as my latch is oiled up good every other month it pops open perfectly to clear the catch :D

hey, I my aim popper just failed after maybe 20 pops and 2 weeks at the most, left me stranded and with a 50.00 bill to get me in the truck,( was in the process of an emergency button for the other side but was waiting for the keyed switch to come in) also left me 2 hours late for work! needless to say im not gonna buy anything from them ever! whats the deal on yours warranty wise?

o dam that sucks!!!!!!!
thats why i kept an eye out on ebay for a cheap window for my truck tho for me the ext cab window. so if i ever do have any kind of failure i can just bust out one window get it, go home sweep it up and 2 screws later a window back in. ;) just incase. beats the hell outta replacing the front drivers window since ya gotta take the whole door apart! :(

lol to save the embarassment i even tried calling local scrap yards for windows, but the cheapest I found was 75.00 plus i had to tear apart a door, and clean up glass, so i figured the 50.00 for the tow truck to atleast try, somehow it makes me uneasy knowing just how simple it is to pry open a door :naughty:

I take it you would still warranty the solenoid if the brain I used was my alarm?
for warranty (if ever needed) who pays shipping, for the solenoids ? customer on the return and you on the new one?> or customer on both,
straight exchange or is there testing time in there if so roughly how long would that take
just gotta cover all the questions lol :)
thanks alot,
Either way im buying a 911 cable kit from you :) aim is offering me a new solenoid if i pay shipping but im not sure i want another one if it fails so quickly
PS i never actually bought these from AIM i would never support them for the problems they have given alot of people, I purchased them from a FSC member new in box who decided not to use them.
