As some of you know, I have a CV driveshaft from Arizona Drivelines. I had a little bit of vibration out of it so I called them and told them about it.

They said "take it to your local driveshaft shop and have them replace the ball and the seal"

So I took it in. Next thing I know, I go to get my driveshaft the next day and I have a WHOLE NEW CV joint on it. They told me that the whole joint was ruined and I can see what they were talking about. The ball was not sitting down on the ball stud yoke, the needle bearings were falling out. The ball stud yoke was all grooved up. The ujoints could easily be pushed out of the holes in which they were in on th CV joint.

So I call up Arizona drivelines and tell them how their Shaft went bad in under a year.

and he says to me "well you should've contacted us about it."

I say "I did and you told me to take it to my local driveshaft shop"

he says "well, being so far out of warranty we can't do anything for you anyway"

I say "how long exactly is the warranty on these things"

He says "We don't warranty them"

What kind of sh!tty business is this? It cost me $237 to have their shaft repaired. And they won't even guarantee their parts for ONE YEAR?!? Arizona Drivelines SUCKS!!! Is there anything I can do about this, or am I just fu(ked?

yeah i kind of regret getting my cv shaft from them instead of high angle. first they sent me the wrong shaft then when i got it, it wouldn't even run without binding at the angle i had. so i had to grind it as well as the new t-case yoke they gave me even though it was at less of an angle then they advertised it could work at.

Not the CV's for the front IFS, I have a rear CV driveshaft that goes fromt the tcase to the rear axle.

well, unless they specified a warranty in writing, you're pretty much out of luck. you can, of course, spread the word on their business "style".

for any custom dshaft work, i'd go with high angle driveline.

There was a local shop that was recommended to me that I called first and they told me they couldn't make a driveshaft like I wanted. Something about no one making a CV w/ a t400 yoke or something. So someone else recommended arizona drivelines to me so I got my driveshaft from them. Then I delt with the local shop on something else and found out that it was the worst shop I had ever done business with for anything. So when arizona drivelines said "take it to your local driveline shop" I looked in my phonebook and came up with this other shop whose work I am very pleased with.
