I wouldn't think 10 grand would buy you much of a Vette. You might end up with an early to mid-'80's model and it seems like about 80% of those that I see are all ragged out and beat to Hell. It's so sad.

Anyhow, good luck in your search. I'm looking for a Vette IRS myself for a project I'm working on.

$10K should get you a decent driver. Like the above post mentioned, you could find a nice C3 (1982 & earlier style)
