I've got a 1999 chevy silverado 2wd with the fabtech 3" spindle lift and a 3" body lift. I was wondering if you guys think that I could fit a 315/75/R16 tire on my truck using the stock wheels. I read through the archives and saw that some people with a 3" body lift on 4wd trucks were running them. I was planning on putting 305/70R16 tires on it but talked to a guy at the tire shop and he can give me a pretty good deal on some 35" BFG all-terrains. He said the tires should fit but then again he's just trying to sell them. I would really appreciate any opinions on this.
thanks in advance for any help.

If Im not mistaken the stock rims are 7". I think you should be okay either way even though a lot of people will say you will rub. you could always throw on some coil spacers for cheap and get another 2". I got a friend with a 98 with that setup and he runs 33s on 10" rims with no problem. Do you do any wheeling?
