i got a toolbox for the truck, and tryin to figure out what to throw in there, i already got the mag light in there, some tools, and a lawn chari but i got plenty of space in there


what do you have in yours so i can hopefully find something to put in mine

-i have a floor jack
-a small shovel
-a can of go-jo
-two 20' straps
-a few basic tools
-motor and tranny oil
-some rags and other stuff

And to top it off, a machete between the driver's side seat and door panel right within reach! :)

hi-lift jack
first aid kit in .50 cal ammo box
2 stainless props
ventvisors that fell off one day
2 tool set
20' tow strap
about 10 foot tow chain
wood saw and multi-purpose saws (for acquiring road signs:naughty: )
2.5' crowbar
ratchet straps
100+ feet of rope (for when you're stuck in the middle of a mud pit, and that's the best you have)
hatchet
folding military shovel with wooden handle
tent
sleeping bag
blanket
carpet in the bottom, so stuff doesn't rattle around
whatever else I don't want people to see, I don't remember what else, the truck is 1500 miles away. I'm having withdrawals.

Spare(one under bed too)

hi-lift jack

And yes, almost all of it is secured in one way or another. I've got a cable that runs the width of the bed behind the toolbox that has locks at either end that i attach things to, and some of the ohter things like the jack and hi-lift jack and the shuvel are mounted to the bed. So yeah, I'm pretty much ready for the end of the world

Here here :gone2far: You name it, it's in my truck. I have no storage at home, so I have everything from wax and towels to all my wrenches, screwdrivers, slim-jim and everything in between! :D

coolant (50/50 mix)
ice scraper

power steering fluid

i think that's it, that's all in one of those ext cab under the seat storage containers.

you're right. I do carry them, I just forgot to list them. I carry them behind the seat.

It's truly amazing how much stuff can be crammed behind the seat.

WELL....The bed of my truck is a tool box!

7500 WATT generator, 30 gallon air compressor, 50' air hose reel-retractable, extra 100' air line, air tools, 7 drawer tool box (full of tools), M.I.G. welder, cordless drill, battery jumpstart pack, safety seal tire plug kit, case of oil, 12 volt auto battery, 100' extension cord, drop light, floor jack, jack stands, oil drain pan, 5 gallons of gas, a vise thats slides into the receiver, sawsall, and a first aid kit!
I'm sure there is more.....but you get the point!

how long does it take you to pull over, get out of the truck, unlock the toolbox, grab the .357 magnum, and yell, "don't fu(k with me!":confused shouldn't those be IN the truck?

im not sure how obvious this is, but it's kinda hard to fight in the space of a truck cab. usually, they take place outside the truck.... where my weapons are
