View Full Version : Billet Aluminum Optima Battery Mounts
Hey guys, first time here on chevy fullzie. I am part of a machine shop that is trying to create an accessories business. As a way to promote it I decided I would stop by here and offer you a discount if a few people were interested.
The Mount: It is made out of aluminum, and designed to hold one or two Optima batterys. It includes all stainless steel hardware. Full description is on the website.
I could do 5% off with 6 people
Or 10% with 12 people..
Or immediate shipment if you are interested now.

Interesting product. But I have a few questions.
Will the factory mount not hold an Optima?
Does your mount fasten down using the factory 99+ hardware?
Thats nice, what are the base dimensions and height of hold down so I can see if it will fit my 2000 Chevy.

The factory mount probably holds an Optima
I am not familiar with the 99 hardware, ours comes with its own hardware. To answer the question simply, it was designed for many applications and not vehicle specific apps

The Base is 7.7" x 11" and the height I will have to get on Monday but I can tell you that the base is 3/8 Thick and the battery does sit in a slightly lower pocket. So as long as the posts clear the hood the top strap will. If you don't have an optima I will guess the dimensions for now. I am pretty sure the overall of the bracket height is probably ~7.34"
