I want to put an air tank where my side saddle fuel tank would normally go on the driver side of my 78. I was thinking a 12 gallon would be a tight fit. Anybody done this? What size/brand tank did you use?

an inch, you say. Thats about what I figured... maybe someone makes one a little shorter. I've got the dinensions of the twelve gallon all ready. Did you mount it upside down? (with the mounts on top?)
