This is where I took my truck to to get it lowered. They promised my truck would be done in four days. I came in four days later, and they hadn't even touched it. A guy said we tried to call you. We need to know a little more info about your truck so we can order the parts. :bull: They had my truck sitting in their shop for four days. WTF is there to know? All I wanted was a 4/6 drop. What is complicated about that?
Needless to say, I got my truck back 3 weeks later. I had to pick the truck up at the alignment shop (not slammed II extremes) before they closed. They left my truck sitting outside the shop in a very (and I mean VERY) bad neighborhood with my brand new 18's installed at about 7pm. :cussing:
My exhaust was busted. Thanks guys.
A week later, 2 of my shocks came loose and bent. They used crappy bolts that stripped and they popped loose.
In short, they are very bad to deal with and I will never take my truck there ever again.

What happend did Stylin Concepts stop doing installs, or they wanted too much...since your right there I would think that would be your first choice.

Stylin' is like an hour and 15 minutes away from my house. I've never had them do any actual work for me, I've only purchased from them. I can't say whether or not they do good/bad work or not cause I have no experience with them.
This place however was around the corner from my moms house and only 10 minutes away from me. It was real easy for me to check on their progress at the time. I could just run out when they called and have my truck back in 15 minutes, ya know? Man if I only knew.
A fellow member of our club, mychev2000, has also had some bad luck with them. They kept insisting on using AIM for his bag setup, and that's not what he wanted. They argued and eventually he asked for his money back.
These guys are shady. My best advice is Stay Away.

Stylin Concepts used to be a great place to have installs done b/c i know the guy who was in charge of the install shop in the rear of the store. My ordeal is a bit long so bare with me. Originally i was gonna go static 4/6 on my 4x4 and do helpers in the rear. Went to a show seen one of Slammed II Extremez recent projects (a 4x4 Ford Sport Trac) and it looked badass and looked like a nice clean install. So i talked to them about having mine done. They walk over and look and give me a price of $3000 total to bag it and custom make the front brackets. Go to their shop 3 days later to talk and order parts. Made a down payment for the parts of $2000. Owner shows up and starts going over parts. I sat in their shop for like 2 hours going back and forth with this moron b/c he wanted to sell me AIM and refused to sell me Air Ride. Then we go the other way he wants to but ****ing hydro's on my truck. At this point i am about to kill him. Then he goes how about hydro's in the front and bags in the back? Im like i came here for bags and thats what i want and i want air ride. So finally i get so irritated that he orders me all air ride stuff. I keep calling daily to find out if the parts arrived, since they dont call back. After waiting for like 2 weeks i said screw this and *****ed and asked for my money back. Oh we cant give it back b/c we deposited it and we work on credit cards here. Finally after 2 days of *****ing they ordered me my Compressor system from air ride and that was it with them. To finish I then went to the Independent Designs a direct dealer for air ride and also previous employee of Stylin Concepts ( i mentioned above) and he did the 4 link and compressors just waiting on Jendro's out in CA for the front brackets so he can finish my truck. Sorry its long, but any Ohio guys or out of state guys DO NOT go to Slammed II Extremez for work.

One more thing I just remembered. I had purchased the Hyperflex Energy Suspension bushing kit (from Summit) and asked if S II E could put it on since they were doing my suspension anyways. He said he'd $900. They must think I'm dumb.

I thought Stylin just did some bag work? They didn't want to install a hard bed cover for me if I bought it there.:to:

I do believe stylin concepts quit doing bag installs a year ago. The guy who did my bags worked for them doing all that stuff and quit b/c they were getting rid of doing that stuff. So he started his own shop. They mostly do quick bolt on things.

This Guy Is Really Full Of Crap. The Truck Did Not Sit Around. He Stopped In Before Hand And Drop The Deposit. The Parts Came In And We Lowered The Truck. It Was Done In About Six Hours. The Shop Who Does The Alignments Left The Truck Outside Because The Trucks Owner Couldn't Pick It Up Sooner. We Used Everything That Came In The Drop Kit, So If It Broke, Hows Is That Our Fault. This Guy Was Totally Cool As So We Thought. If He Had Issues Why Had He Not Contacted Us. Hell, If I Remember Correctly He Sent His Friend In. I'm Ase Certified. And Been Wrenching For Over 15 Years. I Take Pride In My Work Especially If Its Hand Crafted Work. We Are Not A Shady Shop, We've Been In Business For Over 5 Years, Most Shops Fold After The 1st. We Try Our Best To Help Anyone Out. People Who Have To Go To A Shop To Get Work Done, Don't Know What They Need Or Want. We Try To Help By Recommending Parts From Suppliers Who We Think Are Best. Sometimes People Already Know What They Want And Expect Us To Save Them A Buck, Then When We Do, They Bash Us. F Them. Sometimes Customers Do Business With Us And Expect Sometimes We Should Do For Them More Than They Do For Us. When We Don't F-us, Example= Hey Man, I Bought This Amp From You And It Doesn't Work, Let Me Get My Money Back. I Look At The Amp And Noticed That There Is A Arc Mark On The Amp, Right Above The Positive Terminal. That Means He Shorted The Amp With The Screw Driver When He Was Hooking It Up. I Explain To This Guy What Happened And That I Could Try And Send It In For Repair And That It Might Be Sent Back Saying It Was Abused.no He Wants His Money, And I Say No- Hes Ays F Us And That We Are Shady And That He's Telling His Friends. Wtf. Come-on Give Me A Break. Anyhow, I Got This Guys Receipt And It Shows That He's Full Of Crap And That He Payed About $500 For His Drop Including Parts. Another Problem Is That People Complain About Whatever But Never Say What They Paid, If They Did, Anyone Listening Would Ask Them What The F Are They Complaing About. Anyhow, Can't Please Everyone, But We'll Keep Trying.

As For Chev2000 Or Whatever His Name Is, This Guy Comes In And Has A 4x4 And Wants To Lower It On Air. I Had No Part In The Initial Sale. My Employee Did What He Could To Help This Guy Out. Ren Choose Aim Initially Because They Had A Dirrect Bolt On Kit And This Guy Was Cool With It. He Dropped The Deposit. We Waited For A Couple Weeks Because Of Backorders, Aim Wasn't Shipping Product Out Right Away. Aim Ran Our Business Visa Card For The Purchase. As Stated In There Adds And Our Store Policy. Any Returns Or Cancellation Are Subjected To Restocking Fees. Anyhow, Mike ( Chevy2000??) Didn't Want To Wait. He Was Right In Out Shop Raising Hell As To Where His Stuff Was. My Guy Comes And Gets Me To Help Them Out. I Look At The Truck With Mike And We Discuss Alternatives To His 4x4 Situation. Hydros Did Come Up But Was Shot Down By Mike. He Wanted Air Ride. We Contacted Aim About A Cancellation. The Cancelled The Order And Billed Us A Cancellation Fee. We Inturned Charged Mike (2000?????) ,which He Was Cool With Because He Said He Understood Aims Policy Because Its In Every One Of Their Advertisements, The Cancellation Fee And Rewrote The Bill And Sold Him A Air Ride Tech Kit We Had Drop Shipped From Air Ride Tech Dirrect. We Are An Authorized Cce Hydraulic And Air Ride Reseller/installer. And Thats Who Our Supplier Is. Anyhow, We Sold The Big Red Kit W/ Digital Upgrade Cheaper Then Anyone, And He Bought It. But For Charging Him A Cancellation Fee On Something He Cancelled - **** We're Shady!**** F Him! So As You Can See There Is Clearly 2 Sides To Every Story! The Truth And The Exaggerated B.s. Wannabee Truth.
