When I first was planning on lowering my truck, I rushed out and bought a 2/4 Belltech kit for like $400 somethin'. After about a year, peer pressure and you guys convinced me to go lower and notch it.
I sat on the 2/4 after I got my truck lowered 4/6 for another 6 months and even tried to sell it on here awhile back. I was gonna take a big loss on it cause no one was willing to give me what I wanted for it. One of my buds told me to try and return it and see what they say, so I did (I didn't even have the original box for it). Holy cow.... they took it back!!!
They may have charged me a small restock fee (I think 10%), but that was awesome. I was able to get the majority of my money back and I was very pleased.
Summit gets   ....two thumbs up, duh.
Is it just me or is it anytime you call Summit anymore.....you're on hold for atleast 20 minurtes?
One of the biggest reasons i started going w/ Jegs!:head:

Summit lost my buisiness because of their phones.:read:

I've never had a problem with either Summit of Jegs. Although for some reason I always seem to use Summit the most.

I agree!!!! I've been a LONG TIME Summit customer with nothing bad at all to say!!! A good example was that the other day I ordered a SURCO roof rack from them. Got it in about 3 days, and didn't like it.
LOOK HERE FOR MY THREAD ON IT (http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46619)
Told them this morning it was on the way back and they said NO PROBLEM!!!

If Summit is cheaper on one thing, Jegs is cheaper on another. EVERYTHING in both places is with-in a dollar or two of each other. I get my stuff from Jegs just as quick as I did from Summit.
Like I said, I have no beef w/ Summit other than their phones. And that was enough to make me stop buying there.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I'd throw in my $.02. I only buy from summit. Ive dealt with jegs and was highly dissatisfied. I bought a rotatiting assembly from jegs and they sent me the wrong flexplate. Well I found this out after the motor was already in the vehicle because I didnt think to check it since it was supposed to be the 168 tooth flexplate. Well I called jegs and they didnt want to do jack about it. The guy tried to tell me it was all my fault until I asked him if when he's put a new flexplate ,which he was told was the correct one, on did he ever check it or did he just put it on. Well he shut up after that because he knew I was right. But he still wanted to do absolutely nothing. I had to ask him if he would give me a discount on a new starter. Well I did get it but it was like pulling teeth.
On the other hand Ive been dealing with Summit for years and they have never done me wrong. They only sent me the wrong part once and returned it and sent me the correct one immediatly. When Ive bought the wrong part no questions asked they take it back and send me the new one. I usually get my stuff from summit in 1 or 2 days and there tech support is top notch. Some of the sales reps might not be the greatest but I guess if someone asked me about ford or dodge stuff I wouldnt be able to help you either. I'll wait on the phone for summit but Its all worth it to me for the better company. I go in there everytime I go to Ohio. I am a highly impressed with summit and will only deal with them know. Summit Rocks.

i have used jegs, summit and PAW. i really enjoyed all three for what i ordered. However on the flip side i have also gotten the wrong part from all three, never returned them due to being single and having the excess money that it never bothered me. now, married with kids, it is like pulling teeth to get the wife to agree with me ordering anything. one thing i don't like about summit is i have ordered so much from them and never get any kind of catalogue. jegs, always. PAW, well you have to buy theirs but still, i would think after being an avid orderer i would at least rate one (catalogue) without having to request it. well, i am new to the board and have a lot of questions on a 01 5.3 sil. hope yall can answer them. oh, don't knock the ford 5.4 too bad, i have one of those too. only in a lincoln form. taking performance recommendations on that too.

Summit's the place to go for just bout everything, but it's also a 15 min drive from my house :) , so i dont know about their shipping, and it rocks more than ever now with it's new show room....and summit is the best when it comes to the clearance room, which is composed mainly of returns and parts w/ minor and fixable flaws :rocking:

I drove 4 hours down there on saturday to check out the new addition and all I can say is it is freakin AWESOME. If I lived 1/2 hour from summit A. I would probably work there and B. I would be even poorer than I am now.

my flow 40s came from summit. my roomie is an old skool street racer from back in the days of '69 Z28 heydays... i was fretting about the prices around town on flow 40s ($150, $120, $89...) and for something hes not thought about for 15 years, he just blurted out "see if summit racing has a website". $59, i ordered 2 right then and there, and they arrived a day early. apparently they have been around quite a while, and their good reputation didnt just get started recently.
ill buy from them again when the time comes.
