If you own an older Vortech Supercharger kit that adds an additional crank pulley to your stock pulley to drive the supercharger by itself you need to concider upgrading to a single belt system as your crank shaft snout may break off like it did on mine and a few other guys with the same setup!
I Called James in the tech department down at vortech superchargers today and they have the complete kit with brackets, bolts, pullies, belt ,etc for $221.00 I got a little better dealer price and will have it next week :) Kit part number for 1996-2000 5.7L vortec engine is: 4GM111-021
Here is the url link with all the part numbers and pics of system:

This will greatly reduce any crank snout breakage but allow me to to run just one crank pulley...will also knock off 3.5lbs off the snout as well....this along with the street fluid damper and double keying the crank should allow me to run 10-15psi of boost with no problems :)
James said since the system also comes with a auto tensioner there is no worries about over tightening the belt and that it also wraps around the SC pulley better...said this setup was good up to 10psi of boost :) I may relocate the tensioner as it's not in the best location.

I advise anyone who has the old seperate SC belt system and does not want to break their crank nose off to get this kit asap!!! Esp. if you plan on running more boost than stock! Note: mine lasted only 30K miles!
I will post some pics as soon as I get my kit and will keep this tech article updated as we go.
