SIT N' LOW 07-19-2001, 07:20 PM Msd makes a set of replacement wires for these trucks. They are either 8mm or 8.5mm. I can get you the part # tomorrow if you want. As for plugs, you can use A/C delco rapid fire plugs. these are very good plugs and they run between $3- $4 a piece. astroracer 07-20-2001, 04:35 AM I just ordered a Jacobs Pro-Street Ignition System for my '95 GMC(should have it today) and I asked them what plugs they recommended to use with it. Chris, the Tech I talked to, said the standard AC sparkers will work just fine. That has been my experience with plugs. I have tried Champions, Accel, Bosch, NGK, you name it. I have ALWAYS come back to the AC's. I put 60 dollars worth of Bosch plugs into the 400 horse 400 I had in my '73 Firebird... I put about 50 miles on them and ended up pulling them out and putting AC's back in. I haven't wasted any money on plugs since. My 2 cents, Mark SIT N' LOW 07-20-2001, 08:06 AM Another good plug to use is an autolite #26's. they are a hotter burning plug if you use a higher octane fuel. BigKID 07-20-2001, 11:13 AM NGK TR55 and Magnacore wires. I have the NGK's and will be getting the magnacores in a couple thousand more miles when the stock carbon cores start going out. Probally any copper core plug is going to be better for performance, just get rid of those crappy platninums that are in there. Platninums are NOT made for performance. SIT N' LOW 08-03-2001, 12:36 AM the part # for the MSD replacement plug wires for the LS1 motor is 8226. these are 8.5mm red wires with grey boots.
