84 c10 (2wd) lift questions

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone on here has a lifted 73-87 2wd truck? I am looking to lift mine enough to get some 33's or 35's under it. How much lift will I need? I am torn right now to lift or lower and am pushing for lift due to it being a long bed and then i can tow with it still if its lifted. let me know

I have a buddy who took a pair of 2" lowering coils for an '88-'98 truck and stuck them on his '84 and got a 2" lift up front! :cool: Something to think about. It'll give you a lift and you'll end up with a higher spring rate so your handling won't be so floppy.

My had an 84 two wheel drive c-10 he planned to lift it but for the same price as the lift I bought a 10 bolt front from the junk yard and converted to 4x4. The 10 bolts are cheap and the frames are identical minus the crossmember I believe the end result could fit 35s.
