Thanks.... I actually went to Tech at an open campus deal. There is a VERY slim chance that I will go there instead of go to the force and/or welding school. Tech is definately my favorite university....

I go to tech because it is the best school that the base offers, I like the teachers, and the classes aren't half bad. If i had my choice, I would go to Arizona State University. Air force is paying for 75% of my tuition, and i get grants for the rest of it, all I pay is for the books.

I take it you are in the Reserve? How does the commission work for that if you are in or out of school? What classes are you in? I was going to go for Biomedical Engineering.

no pink pony for me, I am active baby. I am taking core classes still, with some computer classes too. I wouldn't do reserves ever.

My mistake. ESPN2 had some old coverage of the 2000 Ranger challenge and the Marine Super Unit Challenge? Looked hardcore.... I was told you could not go full time and to school at the same time. Hmmm... I wonder what the best way is to get to be an officer(Lt, 2nd Lt, etc)?

I got 3 of my 5 degrees while on active duty and got them paid for 100% because I was/am an instructor.

I don't know about any of the other branches of the service, but as for the air force, as long as you have all of your 5-level upgrade trainging done, you can go to school, and they actually encourage you to go. Marines may be a lot differant, because they are a lot more hardcore, and may not have as much down time as we do, but we do a lot of work here. Just that on our time off, you can either get another job, go to school, or drink/gamble your paycheck away. I choose to go to school, but I may get a second job too....to pay for my truck mods.:D
