Well, I'm a 20 year old college Student. I just got my Assosiates degree, so now I've went to Nashville Auto-Diesel College where I'm taking High Performance Engine Building and Hi Performance Fabrication. I only want these courses so I can work on my own stuff. I've enlisted in the ARMY and leave in July, so I won't ever use these things for a career (or at least I hope not).
I have an 88 Chevy C1500, which is currently down to the bare frame. I'm baggin' it, shavin' it, and droppin in one HELL of a motor. Right now I'm just trying to get it bagged before I leave for Basic Training. Oh, and I'm driving an 86 Dodge Ram50 while my truck is down. It's the king of all beaters!:D It's even camoflauge!!!!!
Welcome!:D What kind of motor you droppin' in?

Well, right now I'm not quite sure. It depends on where the project goes as it progresses. My family does a lot of Drag Racing, and we keep spare 540's and 572's sitting in the shop. And we get HELLA discounts on parts through our sponsor, so if I decide to only drive it every now and then, and kinda do the pro-street thing, I'll probably use one of the race motors. However, if I decide to drive it a lot, then I'm thinking of going with a stroker small block, or a nicely built big block. No matter which I choose though, I plan to have some funny gas on tap just incase!
It's really just too far down the road for me to make any real decisions just yet, but that's what I'm thinking right now.
Oh, and I'll try to get some pics up soon
