For everyone with Magnaflow Mufflers, can you please tell me the part # of your muffler and describe the sound as best as you can.

I am looking to get a muffler with the pipes dumped and am wondering which magnaflow will give me the best results. I want a mellow, deep, non-raspy, smooth, not too loud, not to quiet, almost silent in the cab, heard outside the truck sound. I know its a lot to want from a muffler, is it possible? Thanks

it is a nice smooth rumble, and a good roar when you punch it. I've got mine with a turndown right before the rear rollpan, and nuthin is really visible:devil:

Don't own one but i've heard a couple in person. They are really smooth sounding with a DEEP tone when you punch it, but when your off the gas its quiet. I found them too quiet for me, but thats just my opinion. They have really been getting good reviews. Have you checked out magnaflows website? They have a few soundclips to give you an idea.

The Magnaflow has everything that you desrcibed. I dont know what my part number is, but its a 3" in with dual 2-1/2 outlets oval shaped and its about 18" long. Mine are dumped right at the outlets. I like mine.

I have Magnaflow #12588, it's their big 5x11x22 muffler. It has a single 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets, I'm not dumped though. I had the muffler shop use 2.25" pipe, they just expanded the end to fit the 2.5" outlets. It has a deep low rumble while driving, but I can barely hear it at idle or on the freeway. I have the tailpipes turned down before the rear bumper, they look like the tailpipes on a Crown Vic cop car.
