After looking through the Introductions it is obvious that I am an old fart here. But this has no bearing on my enthussiasm for GM trucks. I also live in the Amish part of Pa.I have a 01 Sierra 1500HD Crew Cab and it is probably the best truck I have ever owned. I have installed the Escalade instrument panel, Putco bed rails, Westin Platinum Series chrome nerf bars, and a Lund clear bug deflector that I painted Polo green to match the truck. My next mod is the Denali head lights and God knows where it will end.
My other toy is a 96 Firebird Formula with a 383ci motor and a lot of other things done to it.

Not a member of either one. The LS1 doesn't apply to me and I had trouble getting logged on th camaroz28. I do belong to MAFB mailing list.

The subject just about says it all. I had been using stock LT4 heads and a Hot Cam w/a best of 12.8@110 (my driving sucks)
Now it is a 383 w/6' rods a custom ground Comp Cams shaft.
The heads have been cleaned up a bit. It has 3.73 gears on the stock 7.5 housing that will have to be replaced. And a ton of other little things done to it. I have to get the computer re-tuned to match the new c.i. and cam.
