The tune is almost the same as stock, so that's no big thing, but it worked, which is the main thing. I now have my stock spark tables back. This will be my starting tune for the Procharger. I even lowered my shift points back to 5400 to start with. I want to be really conservative at first,as to not blow it up. Can't wait to get it on now :D Couple weeks or so I think I will be doing it!

Congrats on the first edit, and nothing blew up! :p

I hope all goes well with your install. I hope to start mine on Easter weekend. I have that Friday off from work, so I hope to have it all done that weekend. I may take the following Monday off to get the exhaust done and all that.

I should have my Edit cable in soon. I have been messing around with some of the tranny tables and such with a similar flash to what I should have. I think I am ready to take it on myself.

Good to hear you are getting to know the prog. Have you looke d at the spark tables, under engine calibration? There are low, and high tables, and retard for knock, attack, and all that. I haven't done anything except the spark tables on that one yet.
It's hard to believe they advance your timing 10% across the board with the tuner box. That's alot of room to play with.
I notice now, that my truck runs smoother now, especially over 4000 rpms. really smooth, with no knock(I haven't Autotapped it yet though.)

I asked a guy on another board to share his program with me(he has the exact same setup as me, and Black yukon), but I haven't heard from him, and I don't really expect to, I guess. i would even be willing to pay him, but I didn't mention that : /
I know these guys pay alot for their tunes, but WTF? I will share mine when I get it down. Oh well.
Enjoy the program, and I hope your install goes well! I forgot. A guy on Tech blew his motor cause he didn't have his aux fuel pump on yet, and he took it for a spin, and got on it, and BAM, that was it. So I am going to make sure I take it easy at first, and watch the fuel. Take it easy. Sam

Well, my cable came in yesterday. I got a flash of the PCM with and w/out the HPP3 tune. The HPP3 will be on the market soon! I am planning on making a tune today during some free time at work and then maybe flash it later today. I will probably just mess with idle, and a lot of tranny parameters. I plan on reducing if not eliminating TQM as well.

I saw about the guy that blew his engine like that. I would say he just flat ran out of fuel from the sounds of it. Hope you don't have a similar scenario there.

I was considering getting my truck dyno tuned once I get all the bugs worked out of it, but I'm with you, that is a LOT of money.

Flyer what year is your edit for? I have a 2002 tune for 42lb injectors, larger fuel pump, and Procharger. I have 99,00 Edit capabilities :( which means I cannot read the file. if someone has 02 edit, they can export the numbers to excel so we can see the tune. This is what i would shoot for eventually for the Procharger, eliminating the FMU-fuel managment unit that restricts the return fuel line under boost. I guess they are prone to sticking or something. I will find out pretty quick. I worked on my old 76 460 Ford 2wd today, so I have a ride if I break the Chevy, or if the install doesn't go as planned. Man I hate distributors, and plug wires after having an LS1!!
I will be doing the ATI in a week or sooner hopefully.
I am waiting for the news on Black Yukon's compreesion test. I hope it's good news.

I'm not sure what you mean by what year edit I have. My truck is an 02. Does that help?

If you want me to take a look at it to see if I can read it I will see what I can do.

My truck is in the shop right now. :) They are getting into the T-case. When it was in 4lo, it was making some hellacious grinding noises when going from N to R to D to P or some similar combo.

Hey man,
yes it does help! The year printed on your cable for Edit is the years you can read. I need the injector flow rate table.
It is under engine calibration, then fuel, then injector flow rate. It is one of the easy one line tables :D
I would really appreciate it if you could read the file and just send me the numbers. It is alot easier than I thought.
My email is samuriarte@gci.net
I can email you the file when you have the time to read it.
thanks alot! Sam
