Sup my friend has a 03' Escalade and he is goin' to put 22's on. :D What tires can he use like a 305/40 or so? He wants to eliminate some gap so he wants to know if he can give it a slight drop to do so. No bags tho. Just maybe like a 2/3 or somethin'. Somebody has to make a kit :D  :rocking: :head:  :confused: :naughty:
i'm not exactly sure about the newer escalades, but i thought that the older body style sclades front ends were very similar if not the same as the yukons suspension...you might want to look into yukon parts and seeing if that will work...just throwing someithing out there, not sure if this is correct or not, but i'm sure someone will chime in soon. sorry i couldn't be of anymore service here.

I do believe the escalades are AWD or 4x4, if im wrong someone will correct me. The only thing i now of is using a tahoe/yukon rear kit and up front doing a torsion bar crank on it to bring it down. I may be wrong though.

The new Escalade is available with 2WD or AWD. :read: :D

Yup. My father has a 2WD... The 2WD comes only with the 5.3, and the AWD only with the HO 345HP 6.0.
Anyway, my understanding is that the front suspensions on the new 2001+ SUVs are all the same - 2WD/4WD/AWD including all the different models... torsion bar fronts and coil spring rears. DJM makes a pricey 3/3 kit (~$700) that includes rear coils and new front control arms. Western Chasis makes a more reasonable 3/3 kit (~$300) that includes rear coils and torsion bar inserts.
I know a couple people on the boards here have the DJM kit on their trucks, but I haven't heard from anyone yet that has the Western Chasis kit. Considering the WC kit is half the price, I'd really be wondering if it's as good as the DJM kit... Why not save the money and put it towards the engine or something?

I was into the magazines the other day waiting in line and saw a mag with an Escalade on the front, and it happened to be an 03...so i remembered this thread....well he had his lowered a few inches in the front by way of belltech. Not sure how far down he was due to the fact that the article wasn't that descriptive, but he had no fender gap, and 23" rims with very little sidewall on the tires. looked really good. not as low as i would like to go, but he was tucking in the rear. (Just a little bit of tire)
