i have a 4/6 on my 99 silverado. does anyone know if i can use shocks from a different car on my own. i don't want to buy air or drop shocks. is it even possible to do it?

SadButTrue 03-31-2003, 05:12 PM the reason i don't want to buy drop shocks is, i don't want them to give out and since most of the places i've checked out don't offer a warranty with the shocks, i was thinking if i could find some from another car that would fit. i could buy shocks for that car at an autozone or kragen and they would have some type of warranty.
